Guns&Gear's mission is to provide a lawful, safe and easy-to-use marketplace for Australia's hunting, shooting and outdoor community to browse, buy and sell items.

We want to create a marketplace where buyers, sellers and licensed dealers can connect through a platform designed around the needs of our community.

Safety and lawful firearm transfers are an important part of Guns&Gear. Where a firearm or other restricted item requires a licensed dealer transfer, the Marketplace is designed to support that process while keeping buyers, sellers and dealers connected throughout the transaction.

We also believe a marketplace should be simple to use. No unnecessary clutter — just listings, useful tools and a community built around hunting, shooting and the outdoors.

Our goal is simple: build a marketplace Australians can enjoy using and trust.

I saw a real need for a better marketplace that hunters, shooters and the wider outdoor community could use and enjoy safely.

I wanted to build something that was hassle-free, easy to use and enjoyable to browse. A place where you can look through firearms, fishing gear, hunting equipment and outdoor gear without unnecessary distractions.

No stress. No clutter. No endless advertising. Just a marketplace where you can browse, buy and sell the things you're interested in.

Guns&Gear was also built with the Australian firearms community in mind. Buying and selling firearms is different from selling ordinary items, so I wanted the marketplace to make the process easier to understand while supporting lawful dealer transfers and keeping buyers, sellers and dealers connected.

Most importantly, I wanted to build the kind of marketplace that I would actually enjoy using myself.

Guns&Gear is built on a simple principle: the Marketplace must operate lawfully, safely and responsibly at all times.

We want to protect the trust that exists within Australia's hunting, shooting and outdoor community by providing a marketplace where buyers, sellers and licensed dealers are expected to act honestly and responsibly.

Firearms and restricted items must always be bought, sold and transferred in accordance with applicable laws and through licensed dealers where required.

We believe the community works best when people respect each other, follow the law and look out for one another. Guns&Gear will continue to put safety, lawful trading and the trust of the community first.

I'm the founder and creator of Guns&Gear, based in Ballarat, Victoria.

Guns&Gear started with an idea for a marketplace that I believed could be better for Australia's hunting, shooting and outdoor community.

I've built the Marketplace around what I would want to use myself something simple to navigate, enjoyable to browse and designed with our community in mind.

There has been a lot of work behind getting Guns&Gear to this point, and it will continue to grow and improve as people begin using it. I'll be listening to feedback from the community and looking for ways to make the Marketplace better.

Guns&Gear is an Australian marketplace built for shooters, hunters, licensed firearms dealers and the wider outdoor community.

You can browse firearms, firearm-related products, hunting equipment and other permitted goods offered by private sellers and licensed dealers.

Guns&Gear provides Marketplace tools for listings, Buy Now, offers, messaging, payments and licensed dealer transfers.

The process used for a transaction depends on whether the item is restricted or unrestricted.

You can browse available Guns&Gear listings without creating an account.

Open a listing to view the item's photographs, description, price, seller information and applicable postage or dealer-transfer details.

Use Marketplace search and categories to find the type of firearm, hunting equipment or other gear you are looking for.

Always read the complete listing before deciding to buy or make an offer.

Create a Guns&Gear account when you are ready to use Marketplace features such as Buy Now, Make Offer, messaging, saved listings or selling.

Provide accurate account information and keep your contact and other required details up to date.

Additional verification may be required to use particular Marketplace features or where Guns&Gear needs to confirm account, licence or dealer information.

Keep your password secure and never provide your login details or security codes to another Marketplace user.

Your Guns&Gear account provides access to the Marketplace features available to you.

From your account you may be able to manage listings, saved items, messages, purchases, sales, offers, payment information and other Marketplace activity.

Keep your account details accurate so important transaction and Marketplace information remains current.

If you believe somebody else has accessed your account, secure your account and contact Guns&Gear support.

When you find an item you want, review the listing carefully before selecting Buy Now or making an offer where offers are available.

Check the item price, description, condition, photographs and any postage, collection or dealer-transfer requirements.

Guns&Gear will guide you through the applicable transaction process depending on the type of item being purchased.

Firearms and other restricted items may require a licensed dealer transfer, while eligible unrestricted items use the standard Marketplace purchase and delivery process.

To sell an item, create a listing and provide an accurate title, description, price, photographs and applicable delivery or transfer information.

Select the correct category and accurately identify whether the item is restricted or unrestricted.

The item's classification determines which payment and transfer process Guns&Gear uses.

Before publishing, review the listing carefully and make sure the information shown to buyers is correct.

Guns&Gear uses different transaction processes for restricted and unrestricted items.

Restricted items: Firearms and other regulated items may require a licensed firearms dealer transfer. Where the Guns&Gear restricted-item payment process applies, the buyer pays the seller using PayID or bank transfer and the applicable dealer transfer proceeds separately.

Eligible unrestricted items: Items that do not require the firearms dealer-transfer process may use Stripe Checkout and standard postage, delivery or collection where applicable.

Firearm parts, magazines and other firearm-related products may be regulated differently depending on the item and jurisdiction. Do not assume an item is unrestricted simply because it is not a complete firearm.

Licensed firearms dealers are an important part of transactions where a firearm or other restricted item requires a lawful dealer transfer.

Where required, the buyer nominates or selects a receiving dealer and the firearm is sent or transferred through the appropriate licensed dealer process.

The dealer completes the applicable licence, permit, identity, record-keeping and transfer requirements before releasing the firearm to the buyer.

Guns&Gear provides transfer tracking to help the buyer, seller and dealer follow the Marketplace transaction.

The Guns&Gear transfer status does not replace the legal checks performed by the licensed dealer.

The payment method depends on what you are buying or paying for.

Firearm and restricted-item buyer-to-seller payments using the Guns&Gear restricted process are made using the seller's nominated PayID or bank transfer details.

Stripe is used for eligible unrestricted purchases and applicable Guns&Gear platform charges where Stripe payment is available.

Platform charges may include applicable listing fees, Boosts, dealer memberships and other eligible Guns&Gear services.

Always use the payment process displayed by Guns&Gear for the transaction you are completing.

Use Guns&Gear messaging to ask questions and communicate about Marketplace transactions.

Keeping relevant communication within Guns&Gear helps maintain a record associated with the transaction.

Never send passwords, security codes, banking passwords or unnecessary identity information through Marketplace messages.

Be cautious if another user immediately asks you to move communication or payment outside the Guns&Gear process.

If you find an item you are interested in but are not ready to purchase, you can save the listing to your Guns&Gear account where that feature is available.

Saved listings make it easier to return to items you are watching without having to search for them again.

Saving an item does not reserve it. Another buyer may still purchase the item while the listing remains available.

Read listings carefully, keep relevant transaction communication within Guns&Gear and use the payment and dealer-transfer process applicable to the item.

Never rely solely on a screenshot or message claiming that payment has been made. Sellers should confirm payment through their own bank or the applicable Marketplace payment status.

Do not attempt to bypass licensing, permit, dealer-transfer, payment or Marketplace requirements.

Report suspicious listings, users or transaction activity to Guns&Gear.

Before buying, read the full listing carefully and check the item description, photographs, price, postage or transfer information and any other conditions provided by the seller.

If you have a question about an item, use the Guns&Gear messaging system to contact the seller. Keeping communication within the Marketplace helps maintain a record of the transaction.

Where a seller has enabled offers, you can select Make Offer and enter the amount you are prepared to pay.

Sellers may set offer limits and the number of offer attempts available. An offer outside the seller's accepted range may be automatically declined.

If an offer is accepted, follow the payment and transaction instructions shown by Guns&Gear.

An accepted offer should be treated seriously. Do not make offers unless you genuinely intend to complete the purchase.

Buy Now allows you to purchase an item at the seller's advertised price without making an offer.

Before confirming Buy Now, review the item price, postage or transfer requirements and the payment method displayed for the transaction.

The next steps depend on whether the item is restricted or unrestricted. Restricted items follow the Guns&Gear dealer-transfer process, while eligible unrestricted items use the applicable standard payment and delivery process.

Only select Buy Now when you genuinely intend to complete the transaction.

The payment method depends on the type of item being purchased. Guns&Gear will display the applicable payment process during the transaction.

Firearms and restricted items: The buyer-to-seller payment is made using the seller's nominated PayID or bank transfer details. Where a licensed dealer transfer is required, payment does not replace that transfer process.

Eligible unrestricted items: Payment is made through Stripe Checkout where available. Supported payment options may include card, Apple Pay or Google Pay depending on Stripe and the buyer's device.

Always check the item, seller, amount and transaction details before sending or confirming payment.

Do not send payment using a different method simply because another user asks you to bypass the payment process shown by Guns&Gear.

Firearms and other restricted items may require transfer through a licensed firearms dealer. Buyers are responsible for ensuring they are legally entitled to acquire and possess the item.

When required, Guns&Gear will ask the buyer to nominate or select the licensed dealer who will receive the item and handle the applicable transfer process.

The buyer pays the seller using the applicable PayID or bank transfer process. The firearm is then transferred or shipped through the appropriate licensed dealer process rather than being sent directly to the buyer.

Your receiving dealer remains responsible for completing the checks, records, permits and transfer procedures required by applicable law.

Unrestricted items that do not require a licensed dealer transfer use the standard Guns&Gear purchase process.

Eligible unrestricted purchases may be paid through Stripe Checkout. The total shown before payment may include the item price and any applicable postage or handling amount.

After payment, the seller is responsible for preparing and sending the item using the delivery arrangements shown for the transaction.

Where tracking is available, keep the tracking information until the item has been received and the transaction is complete.

If there is a problem with a purchase, first check the transaction details and use Guns&Gear messaging to communicate with the other party.

Do not move the conversation to private email, text message or social media simply because another user asks you to do so. Keeping relevant communication within Guns&Gear helps preserve the transaction record.

If you believe a listing or user is suspicious, misleading or attempting to bypass Marketplace rules, report the listing or account to Guns&Gear.

For payment problems involving Stripe, follow the payment information provided for the transaction and contact Guns&Gear support where assistance is required.

For a firearm or restricted-item transfer issue, contact the licensed dealer involved in the transfer where the issue concerns licensing, permits, receipt or lawful transfer of the item.

To sell an item on Guns&Gear, create a listing and provide accurate information about the item, including its title, description, condition, price, photographs and applicable delivery or transfer details.

Select the correct category and clearly identify whether the item is restricted or unrestricted. The classification of the item determines which payment, delivery and dealer-transfer process applies.

Photographs should show the actual item being offered for sale and the description should disclose any significant damage, faults, modifications or other information that may reasonably affect a buyer's decision.

Do not deliberately place a firearm, firearm part, magazine or other restricted item into an unrestricted category to bypass the applicable Guns&Gear payment, fee or dealer-transfer process.

Sellers choose the advertised price for their item and may enable offers where that option is available.

If offers are enabled, you may set the applicable offer limits, number of attempts and offer period using the options provided when creating or editing the listing.

Buyers can then submit offers through Guns&Gear rather than negotiating the transaction outside the Marketplace.

Make sure your advertised price and offer settings are correct before publishing the listing.

If you accept an offer, you should be prepared to complete the sale using the applicable Guns&Gear transaction process.

Firearms and other restricted items must be accurately identified when creating the listing and must follow the applicable licensed dealer-transfer process.

The seller is responsible for ensuring they are legally entitled to sell the item and for providing accurate information about the firearm or restricted item.

Where a dealer transfer is required, the buyer selects or nominates the receiving licensed dealer and the item must be transferred through the appropriate dealer process.

The buyer-to-seller purchase payment for restricted items is made using the seller's nominated PayID or bank transfer details. Stripe is not used for the buyer-to-seller firearm purchase payment.

Do not send a firearm directly to a buyer where the applicable law requires the item to be transferred through a licensed dealer.

Unrestricted items that do not require a licensed dealer transfer use the standard Guns&Gear selling and delivery process.

Eligible unrestricted purchases may be processed through Stripe Checkout. Sellers using this payment process must complete any required Stripe account setup before receiving eligible sale proceeds.

Make sure the postage, handling or collection information shown on the listing is accurate before a buyer completes the purchase.

After payment has been confirmed, prepare the item carefully and send it using the agreed delivery method.

Where tracking is available, enter or provide the tracking information through the applicable Guns&Gear transaction process and retain proof of postage until the transaction is complete.

The way you receive payment depends on the type of item being sold.

Firearms and restricted items: the buyer pays the seller using the seller's nominated PayID or bank transfer details. The applicable licensed dealer-transfer process must still be completed.

Eligible unrestricted items: payment may be processed through Stripe using the Guns&Gear checkout process.

Do not mark a PayID or bank transfer payment as received until the funds have actually cleared into your account. Do not rely only on screenshots, emails or messages claiming that payment has been made.

Never agree to change the payment method simply because a buyer asks you to bypass the transaction process displayed by Guns&Gear.

For unrestricted items, sellers should use the postage, delivery or collection method stated on the listing.

Where a parcel is sent with tracking, provide the tracking information through the applicable Guns&Gear transaction process so the buyer can follow the delivery.

Keep postage receipts and tracking information until the transaction has been completed.

For firearms and other restricted items requiring dealer transfer, the item must be sent or transferred through the appropriate licensed dealer process rather than ordinary delivery directly to the buyer.

Check the receiving dealer details before dispatching a restricted item and follow the applicable legal requirements for transportation and transfer.

When a transaction has been completed, use the applicable Guns&Gear transaction controls to update the status of the item.

Do not mark a transaction as complete merely because a buyer says that payment has been sent. Confirm the applicable payment and transaction steps first.

For restricted transactions, payment and the lawful dealer-transfer process are separate parts of the transaction. Follow the transaction status shown by Guns&Gear and the dealer-transfer process where applicable.

Completed listings may be removed from active Marketplace results while remaining available within the relevant account or transaction history.

Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and for ensuring that items they offer for sale can lawfully be sold and transferred.

You must accurately describe the item, use the correct category and restricted-item classification, and follow the payment and transfer process applicable to that item.

Do not provide false or misleading information, deliberately conceal significant faults, impersonate another person or attempt to manipulate Guns&Gear fees or transaction processes.

Keep relevant communication with buyers within Guns&Gear wherever possible so there is a record associated with the transaction.

Sellers must also comply with applicable Commonwealth, state and territory laws and any licensing, permit or dealer requirements that apply to the item being sold.

Guns&Gear may review, suspend or remove a listing where its classification, legality, description or transaction activity requires review.

If there is a problem with a buyer or transaction, first check the listing and transaction details and communicate with the buyer using Guns&Gear messaging.

If a buyer claims to have paid by PayID or bank transfer but the funds are not visible in your account, do not release or dispatch the item until payment has actually been confirmed.

For Stripe payment problems, check the transaction information provided by Guns&Gear and contact Guns&Gear support where assistance is required.

For problems involving the lawful transfer of a firearm or restricted item, contact the licensed dealer involved where the issue relates to licensing, permits, receipt or transfer of the item.

Report suspicious behaviour, attempted scams, payment manipulation, misuse of the Marketplace or other serious concerns to Guns&Gear.

Guns&Gear dealer accounts are designed for licensed firearms dealers using the Marketplace for listings, customer transfers and other dealer-related activity.

Dealers must provide accurate business, contact and firearms licence information when creating or maintaining a dealer account.

Dealer access may be subject to verification by Guns&Gear before all dealer features become available.

Dealers are responsible for keeping their business details, licence information, address and applicable transfer fees up to date.

Guns&Gear may verify information supplied by a dealer before approving or maintaining a dealer account.

Verification may include dealer identity, business information, firearms dealer licence details and other information reasonably required to operate the dealer features of the Marketplace.

Approval by Guns&Gear does not replace any licence, registration, record-keeping or other legal requirement applying to the dealer.

If a dealer licence expires, is suspended, cancelled or otherwise becomes invalid, the dealer must not continue using Guns&Gear dealer features in a way that requires a valid dealer licence.

Approved dealers may create and manage listings through the Guns&Gear Dealer Centre.

Listings must accurately describe the item being offered, including its condition, price, photographs and whether the item is restricted or unrestricted.

Dealers must use the correct category and transaction process for the item being sold.

A restricted item must not be deliberately placed into an unrestricted category to access a different payment process or avoid Marketplace controls.

Dealers remain responsible for ensuring that items they advertise, sell or transfer comply with the laws and licence conditions applicable to their business.

A buyer purchasing a firearm or other restricted item may nominate a licensed dealer to receive and complete the applicable transfer.

The receiving dealer should confirm the transaction and item details before accepting or processing the transfer.

When the item arrives, the dealer should use the applicable Guns&Gear transfer controls to update the transfer status where those controls are available.

The firearm must not be released to the buyer until the dealer has completed the licensing, permit, identification, record-keeping and other transfer requirements that apply to that transaction.

Guns&Gear provides a transaction workflow to help the buyer, seller and receiving dealer follow the progress of a restricted-item transfer.

Depending on the transaction, the workflow may show stages such as the dealer being selected, the transfer being approved, the item being in transit, the dealer receiving the item and the transfer being completed.

Dealers should update the applicable transfer status accurately so the buyer and seller can follow the transaction.

The Guns&Gear transfer workflow is an administrative tool and does not replace the dealer's legal records, registers, permits or other documentation required by law.

The payment for a firearm or other restricted item is separate from the licensed dealer-transfer process.

For restricted purchases using the Guns&Gear payment workflow, the buyer pays the seller using the seller's nominated PayID or bank transfer details.

The receiving dealer does not need to treat a Guns&Gear payment status as evidence that the firearm can legally be released to the buyer. The dealer must complete their own required checks before transfer.

Dealers should not ask buyers or sellers to use Stripe to process the buyer-to-seller payment for a firearm or other restricted item where the Guns&Gear restricted-item process applies.

Any dealer transfer, handling, storage or other dealer charges are separate from the purchase price unless clearly stated otherwise. Dealers should clearly disclose their applicable fees to customers.

Stripe may be used for eligible unrestricted purchases and applicable Guns&Gear platform charges where Stripe payment is available.

Where a dealer sells an eligible unrestricted item through the Marketplace using Stripe, the dealer may be required to complete the applicable Stripe account setup before receiving sale proceeds.

Stripe may also be used for applicable Guns&Gear charges such as dealer membership or listing Boosts.

Stripe is not used for the buyer-to-seller purchase payment for firearms or other restricted items using the Guns&Gear dealer-transfer payment process.

Dealers may charge fees for services associated with receiving, processing, storing or transferring firearms, subject to applicable law and the dealer's own fee structure.

Where Guns&Gear provides fields for dealer fees, dealers should keep those amounts accurate so buyers can understand the expected costs before selecting a dealer.

Dealer fees may include applicable transfer, interstate transfer, handling or storage charges.

Any dealer fee displayed by Guns&Gear is based on information provided by the dealer and may need to be confirmed with the dealer before the transfer proceeds.

When receiving a firearm, dealers should confirm that the firearm and transaction information correspond with the transfer they are expecting.

Dealers should follow their normal lawful procedures for receiving, recording, storing and transferring the firearm.

A firearm must not be released merely because the buyer has paid the seller or because Guns&Gear shows the purchase as paid.

Before release, the dealer must independently confirm that all applicable licence, permit, identity, registration and transfer requirements have been satisfied.

Once the lawful transfer has been completed, the applicable Guns&Gear transfer status can be updated to show the transaction as completed.

Dealers using Guns&Gear remain responsible for complying with the laws, licence conditions and record-keeping requirements applying to their firearms business.

Guns&Gear provides Marketplace and transaction-management tools but does not replace the professional or legal responsibilities of a licensed firearms dealer.

Dealers must provide accurate information, use the correct listing and transfer processes, maintain appropriate records and only release restricted items when legally permitted.

Dealer accounts must not be used to assist another person in bypassing Guns&Gear rules, payment processes or applicable firearms laws.

Guns&Gear may review, restrict, suspend or remove dealer access where account information, listings or transaction activity require review.

If there is a problem with a Guns&Gear transfer, first check the transaction details and communicate with the buyer or seller through the applicable Guns&Gear messaging or transfer process.

If an item arrives that does not match the expected transfer information, or there is a licensing, permit or identification problem, do not release the firearm until the issue has been resolved.

If there is a problem with a Guns&Gear dealer account, listing, payment status or transfer status, contact Guns&Gear support.

Suspected fraud, attempted payment manipulation, deliberately misclassified restricted items or other serious misuse should be reported to Guns&Gear.

Guns&Gear keeps marketplace fees simple and transparent. Any applicable fee is shown before you confirm a listing, purchase or paid marketplace feature.

Firearm listings: A listing fee applies when a private seller lists a firearm for sale. The applicable fee is shown before the listing is submitted.

Unrestricted items: A platform fee applies when an unrestricted item is successfully sold through Guns&Gear. Sellers of unrestricted items must connect Stripe to receive their sale proceeds.

Dealer listings: Approved dealers do not pay an individual firearm listing fee. Dealer marketplace access is provided through the applicable dealer membership.

Boosts: Optional listing boosts can be purchased to give a listing increased visibility within the marketplace.

Guns&Gear displays applicable marketplace charges before payment or confirmation so you know what you are paying before proceeding.

When it applies: PayID or bank transfer is used for the buyer-to-seller payment when purchasing firearms or other restricted items that require the Guns&Gear dealer-transfer process.

The buyer pays the seller directly using the PayID or bank account details provided through the Guns&Gear transaction process.

Important: Payment does not replace the legal transfer process. Firearms and other restricted items must still be transferred through a licensed dealer where required by law.

Buyers should check the transaction details before sending payment. Sellers should only confirm payment as received after the funds have cleared into their account.

Restricted items must not be deliberately listed as unrestricted items for the purpose of accessing Stripe checkout or avoiding the applicable restricted-item process or marketplace fees.

Guns&Gear may review, suspend or remove listings that appear to have been incorrectly categorised.

When it applies: Stripe is used by Guns&Gear for eligible unrestricted marketplace purchases and applicable platform charges.

This may include eligible unrestricted item purchases, firearm listing fees, listing Boosts, dealer membership fees and other eligible Guns&Gear marketplace services.

For eligible unrestricted item sales, sellers must have the required Stripe account setup completed before receiving sale proceeds through the Stripe payment process.

Available payment methods may include debit or credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay where supported by Stripe and the buyer's device.

Stripe is not used for the buyer-to-seller payment for firearms or other restricted items that use the Guns&Gear dealer-transfer payment process.

Users must provide accurate information when creating listings. An item must not be incorrectly classified or moved into another category in an attempt to make it eligible for Stripe payment.

Guns&Gear may prevent payment, review a listing, suspend a listing or take other appropriate action where the item's classification or payment eligibility requires review.

Firearm or restricted item purchase:
PayID or bank transfer between buyer and seller, together with the required licensed dealer-transfer process.

Eligible unrestricted item purchase:
Stripe checkout.

Private firearm listing fee:
Stripe.

Listing Boost:
Stripe.

Dealer membership:
Stripe where applicable.

Keep your Guns&Gear account secure and do not allow another person to use your login details.

Use a strong, unique password that you do not use for other websites or services.

Do not change payment methods simply because another user sends different payment instructions through a message, email or social media account.

Before sending a PayID or bank transfer, check the transaction, recipient details and amount carefully.

Sellers should confirm funds through their own bank account or the applicable Guns&Gear payment status. Do not rely solely on a screenshot, receipt image, email or message claiming that payment has been made.

Only provide personal information that is reasonably required to complete your account, transaction, delivery or lawful dealer transfer.

Do not send unnecessary copies of identification documents, firearm licences, bank statements or other sensitive documents directly to another Marketplace user.

Where Guns&Gear provides a dedicated verification or account upload process, use that process rather than sending documents through ordinary messages.

Never provide another user with banking passwords, card PINs, one-time security codes or account recovery codes.

Be particularly cautious where somebody claims they require additional personal or financial information before they can send or receive payment.

Most Marketplace transactions are straightforward, but users should remain alert to behaviour that does not appear consistent with a normal purchase or sale.

Warning signs may include:

• Pressure to send money immediately.
• Requests to move communication away from Guns&Gear.
• Payment instructions that suddenly change.
• Claims that additional money must be sent before payment can be released.
• Requests for passwords, security codes or unnecessary identity documents.
• Payment screenshots where funds cannot be confirmed.
• A buyer offering substantially more than the advertised price.
• A seller refusing to answer reasonable questions about an item.
• Requests to bypass the licensed dealer-transfer process.
• Requests to incorrectly classify a restricted item as unrestricted.

If something does not appear right, stop the transaction until you can verify the information.

Firearms and other restricted items require additional care because payment and lawful possession are separate parts of the transaction.

Where a licensed dealer transfer is required, the item must follow the applicable dealer-transfer process regardless of whether the buyer has already paid the seller.

Where possible, include the listing, user or transaction involved and a clear description of what occurred.

Do not deliberately continue a suspicious transaction simply to gather additional evidence.

Guns&Gear may preserve relevant account, message, listing and transaction records where reasonably required for safety, security, fraud prevention, compliance or dispute review.

Stop communicating with the suspected scammer and do not send any additional money or information.

If you have sent money by PayID or bank transfer, contact your financial institution promptly and explain what has occurred.

If the transaction involved Stripe, retain the relevant Guns&Gear and Stripe transaction information and contact Guns&Gear support.

Change your password immediately if you believe your Guns&Gear account or login information may have been compromised.

Report the account, listing or transaction to Guns&Gear so the Marketplace activity can be reviewed.

Guns&Gear is a marketplace for lawful buying and selling of firearms, firearm-related products, hunting equipment and other permitted goods.

Users must provide accurate information, act honestly and use the Marketplace transaction processes applicable to the item being bought or sold.

You must not use Guns&Gear to facilitate unlawful activity, deceive another user, avoid applicable Marketplace fees or deliberately bypass payment, safety, verification or dealer-transfer controls.

Users are responsible for ensuring their activity complies with applicable Commonwealth, state and territory laws.

Guns&Gear may review Marketplace activity and may restrict, suspend or remove listings or accounts where these rules are breached or where further review is reasonably required.

For firearms and other restricted purchases using the dealer-transfer process, the buyer-to-seller payment is made using the seller's nominated PayID or bank transfer details.

Eligible unrestricted purchases may use Stripe Checkout where available. Stripe may also be used for applicable Guns&Gear platform charges, including listing fees, Boosts, memberships and other eligible services.

Users must not deliberately alter an item's category, transaction type or other information to avoid an applicable Marketplace fee or gain access to a payment method that does not apply to the item.

Attempts to manipulate, avoid or improperly reverse legitimate Marketplace fees may result in listing or account review.

Guns&Gear may remove duplicates, spam or other listings that unreasonably interfere with Marketplace quality or search results.

A Boost increases the visibility or priority of an eligible listing within the Marketplace according to the Boost features available at the time.

A Boost does not guarantee that an item will sell, receive enquiries or achieve any particular Marketplace position for a specific period unless expressly stated by Guns&Gear.

Boosts must not be used to promote prohibited, misleading, suspended or deliberately misclassified listings.

Guns&Gear may remove a Boost or suspend the underlying listing where the listing breaches Marketplace rules.

Dealers must maintain accurate business and licence information and must only use dealer features while appropriately authorised to do so.

Dealer listings must comply with the same accuracy, classification and Marketplace rules applying to other sellers.

Dealer transfer fees and other charges displayed through Guns&Gear should be kept accurate and reasonably current.

The Guns&Gear transfer workflow does not replace a dealer's legal registers, records, licence obligations or professional responsibilities.

Dealer status may be reviewed, restricted or suspended where licence information, Marketplace activity or other relevant information requires verification.

Users must treat other buyers, sellers and dealers appropriately when using Guns&Gear.

Threats, harassment, abusive behaviour, deliberate intimidation, fraudulent activity and serious misuse of Marketplace communication features are not permitted.

Do not impersonate Guns&Gear staff, a licensed dealer, another user or another business.

Do not use the Marketplace to obtain personal information about another user for purposes unrelated to a legitimate transaction.

Serious or repeated misconduct may result in messaging restrictions, listing suspension or account action.

Guns&Gear may suspend a listing where information needs to be corrected or where the listing requires further review.

Where appropriate, a seller may be able to correct the issue and resubmit or relist the item.

A listing may be removed where it breaches Marketplace rules, presents a serious safety or compliance concern, or is otherwise unsuitable for the Marketplace.

Attempts to repeatedly recreate a removed listing without addressing the reason for removal may result in further account action.

Users are encouraged to report listings, accounts or Marketplace activity that appear to breach these rules.

Reports should contain enough information for Guns&Gear to identify the listing, user or transaction and understand the concern.

Guns&Gear may review relevant listing, account, message and transaction information when investigating a report.

Submitting a report does not automatically mean that another user or listing has breached the rules. Guns&Gear may review the available information before deciding what action is appropriate.

Depending on the circumstances, Guns&Gear may issue a warning, request that information be corrected, restrict Marketplace features, suspend or remove a listing, temporarily restrict an account or take other reasonable action.

Serious or repeated breaches may result in account suspension or termination in accordance with the Guns&Gear Terms & Conditions.

Where there is an immediate safety, fraud or compliance concern, Guns&Gear may take protective action before completing a full review.
